Wordless Wednesday: Pumpkin patch

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
So when your family goes to the pumpkin patch,
your kids immediately sit down in the parking lot
and start examining the gravel, right?

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Oh…no? Just us? Well, then.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Mikko's favorite part was the giant jumping pillow.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
We persuaded Alrik to give it a go.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
And the boys persuaded the adults.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Whee!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
While Mikko continued to bounce, Alrik checked out the corn crib …

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
… did a hula hoop dance …

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
… rode a pony …

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
… and made friends with a goat.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
He took some time out for photo ops.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Nana made that sweater for Mikko.
I love homemade hand-me-downs.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
He found a house just his size.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Mikko rejoined us.
As you can see, he was only semi-toothed.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Duck race!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
I think Mikko's winning that one.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys?
A barrel of humans!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Yea!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Uh-oh. Meltdown.
Better get our pumpkins and get out.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Mikko offered to play photographer for one last photo op.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
And we had to see how tall everyone was.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Sam's made it to six feet.
Aw, he's getting so big!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Hi, shrimp!

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Hey, he might be small, but he can pick any size pumpkin.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
Or…maybe not.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
That's better.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
It goes out empty…

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
…and comes back full.

Hobo Mama: Pumpkin patch
That's the way to do the pumpkin patch.

Our corn maze has a jump pillow - it's the only one in the area and my boys LOVE it.

Looks like a great place. My son would have done the exact same thing, and spent a good few minutes examining the rocks and gravel, and probably sat down, until he was ready to move on to the next thing, so you aren't alone! :)
