Wordless Wednesday: Breastfeeding & the Great Wheel

celebrate world breastfeeding week on npn

I’m celebrating World Breastfeeding Week with Natural Parents Network! You can, too — link up your breastfeeding posts from August 1-7 in the linky on Natural Parents Network.

Sam and I went on the Seattle Great Wheel yesterday with some friends, including Shannon and Jennifer and families. I have a post in the works of unusual places I've breastfed, and I was determined to add one or more to the record. With the help of some photography by Shannon (hint: the pretty ones are hers) since our camera lens broke (again), and my own cell phone grabs, I added not one but THREE new breastfeeding photo ops.

Plus, hey — it was a beautiful day downtown!

Seeing all the other kids enjoy the toys Mikko insisted we carry along almost made the schlepping worth it.

Do you have any odd places you've fed your baby?

What a beautiful day! Everything is sparkling! And Mikko is a trooper - I'm not sure I would have looked either. I can't believe how big Alrik is getting. So cute!

Love it! I should've been keeping track of all the places I breastfed—that would be a fun thing to look back on and remember. =) The Great Wheel is a pretty incredible location, though...not sure I can top that one!

I love this...and you are totally my hero for nursing while babywearing. That is a skill I hope to accomplish this third time around. :) Thank you for sharing such beautiful photos. I love how easy breastfeeding makes traveling and family adventures.
