What great shots! Are these all items from your own garden?

Thanks, everyone! I'm gonna stick some words in the comments, hee hee. I love to cheat.

We have a garden with mamamilkers over at her place, and the zucchini and strawflowers and dahlias and onion are from there. We are not, however, growing our own bacon. ;) Sam's our cook who made that delicious concoction, and he has a (proven) theory that bacon makes everything taste better. I swear he has applied it with success even to chocolate. We just ate the same meal again yesterday but with raw sweet corn kernels sprinkled on top as well — so yummy! He also puts a grated parmesan crust on as well.

The tomato is the lone harvestable tomato from my patio tomato plant at home. Our garden has lots of green tomatoes but nothing red yet! This summer has been so weird and mostly chilly. The tomatoes have been confused. Here's hoping we get some soon!

Your harvest looks great! I vow to have a better garden next year. This year was dismal.

Also, I'm so glad I didn't miss a carnival! I've been worrying since I didn't get my reminder email, but then I double-checked the schedule and voila! Just a little hiatus! Yay :)
