My daughter gets into awkward positions while nursing too. Some of them are so silly and next time I'll have to get it on camera! Cute!
Great shots. He does look comfy. Too cute.
Hey, I know only too well that it's not all that comfy for the mum either! My nipples will only stretch so far...
I totally made Sam grab the camera. He was like, "Seriously?" But who doesn't want to remember such nonsense!
Cave Mother: No kidding! We're not made of taffy. :)
Beautiful pics! I look forward to Sasha in silly poses.
Peggy's favorite position is also that downward dog one. And not so very comfortable for me!
Yikes, the downward dog nursing hold! My Monkey has added a balance challenge to it, trying to keep his hands up at his hips while perched like that. Makes a great photo, but my nipples are not fans of all the acrobatics.
Gotta love toddler gymnastics!
That looks like my daughter when she nurses! Now that she's older there are times it's more about comfort or getting a quick drink, so she can't be bothered to lay still. LOL
aww those are great pictures.
you are one trusting mama! i would be so nervous about a possible tipover and my dear nipple getting turned into a pretzel :}
LOL...just practicing yoga. I would think it would hurt you!
That hilarious! And reminds me of my own girls' toddler nursing stunts. Thanks for sharing!
this is awkwardlt familiar
AHH love toddler nursing gymnastics! So sweet!
Oh, the toddler nursing antics. Sweet and crazy-making, all at the same time.
My boy also does nursing yoga/gymnastics. I think it's cute, when I'm not tired. I will have to get some pics!
My 10 month old daughter has started doing this! She also likes to see if she can get completely upside down with her butt by my face. so nice.
Oh, I laughed outright! Eden does that all the time. Great shots.
I love it, but can I just say that it's not comfortable. At least for me it isn't! I love that my daughter wants to nurse in many different positions, but some of them hurt...specifically the crocodile death roll position.
Thanks for stopping by and linking up your WW post. Have a great day!

@TweetingMama
hahaha!! that's awesome. my daughter just started to really want to move around while she is nursing...we will see if she ever starts to that that :)
Downward dog! Yes, that's what it is. Toddler yoga, only without the meditative aspect! :)
Deb: Oh, it's happened!
Megan: Now that I want to see a picture of!
Kristi: Crocodile death roll, yes. That one does not feel nice. Silly nurslings who do not know the tensile strength of the human nipple.
priceless :)
u may view mine here
So sweet!
Yeah, I'll say!
I laughed out loud when I opened this one! My son is almost 10 months old now and he LOVES to see just how wacky he can position and get his drink on! Now that he can stand on his own and has more body control, it seems that "cradle-hold" nursing is just too bland for his tastes! Great pics!I LOVE wordless Wednesdays!
I know that position well. Mine would stand on her head if she could. I need to keep the camera near by to catch it sometime.
I just LOVE toddler nursing. The top pic makes me laugh! They do wiggle around so much!
LOL. That can't be comfortable for you! And...what's this? A Wordless Wednesday that is actually wordless? Heehee, just teasing.
I stumbled across your blog and wanted to say hi.

LOVE it. nursing a toddler is definitely a unique experience.
My daughter does the same silly thing.
My 6 1/2 month old does the same thing! lol
I know this is years old...but ahhh, stunt nursing. How I miss that...how I miss all of my babies nursing. Time goes on. Beautiful pictures : )
