Even before the fireworks started, Alrik sought some pre-boom comfort.

Here he is at his first Fourth by contrast:

Aw. He actually did better with the noise back then!

I'll be posting an update for the World Breastfeeding Week carnival on how nursing a two-year-old is going this time around, but suffice it to say, it's going!

Because, fortunately for me, this shark knows not to use his teeth!

I have a breastfeeding set on Flickr as well.

Must surely be one of the most beautiful things in the world for mother.

I love them! I don't have many pictures if nursing my first. I have a few of my second, but all "tasteful" and discreet. With number three, I've been taking several including some with much more exposure. I got the best one yesterday of him grinning and nursing with my entire shirt pulled up! At this point, I feel like this is what we do. It is what my kids expect. And they love to see the pictures of themselves nursing because they know I nursed them out of love.

These are so beyond sweet! Alrik is so cute (and you're pretty yourself!), and I love seeing photos of you two. Haha, sharky. Those towels are the best! I have a flamingo from when I was small, and it's become Adora's favorite now. The hoods are handy to dry hair, so I like it, too.
I really love seeing these pictures! Alrik really looks so taken care of, and they are so sweet and beautiful. Also, you're so discreet! Is that from lots or practice? Haha.
Oh my words, look at your professional business cards! Those are awesome! Have an amazing time on your trip! I hope you meet lots of new friends. I'd love to meet you in person, but obviously I won't be at the conference...the woes of being a super unprofessional blogger..haha. Have fun!

I miss nursing. Matthew weaned, by himself, at 27 months. He was down to once or twice a day, mainly first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, and one morning he just decided he was done. Easy, and pretty painless for both of us, although I was very emotional about it. I loved breasfeeding, never thought I would, before I had children. I only have one photo of me nursing each child, I never really thought to take pictures. If we have a 3rd, I will try to take a few more. We shall see!
