Wordless Wednesday: America Day!

Four-year-olds really know how to get into the spirit of patriotism. This is last year's celebration of America Day, as Mikko called it. I'm prone to be blasé about hoopla and fireworks, which is why it's ideal to see it all through the eyes of a child.

No matter where you live, I wish you all a happy Fourth of July and a celebratory spirit!

If you were intrigued by the idea of making your park America's favorite, I've published a post of tips on just how to get out the vote! Campaign now to meet the deadline of July 15. The winning park receives a $100,000 grant for improvements or maintenance — a huge boost to your community's pride and joy!

You'll also love this week's photos on the topic of Patriotism over at Natural Parents Network!

So fun to see Mikko having so much fun and excitement from the fireworks! I hope we can have that kind of experience someday. =)

We celebrated here in England with our American friends. We were camping so we had sparklers in a homemade apple pie! It was a great evening.
