Wordless Wednesday: Little apes

On a recent trip to the zoo…

Mikko reads the map. Sometimes right side up. He could unerringly find the food court, no matter what else we were aiming for!

Looking right at home.

Mikko and I went to see the movie Chimpanzee together, and since I talked it up so much to get him to go with me and then keep watching, now he's certain I'm obsessed with apes, baby apes, and apes having nummies. I guess he's kinda right.

I was never fond of gorillas, but recently I've been coming around to liking them quite a bit. I love Mikko's gorilla friend!

I'm totally into baby apes! (Especially my own baby great ape, but hey, chimpanzees are awesome too!)
