Wordless Wednesday: Early snowfall

We don't often get snow in Seattle, but we got a few early snow days this year. It was too cold for us to do much wandering, so we made it just out to the parking lot for awhile.

What better to make snowballs with than an ice cream scoop?
Or so decides a three-year-old.

We are in the Christmas spirit around here, too! So cute.

If I had a cutie like that around here to remind me of the joys and wonders of winter I might not be such a grinch.

I'm hoping we see a TINY bit of snow here in Georgia. I love the ice cream scoop idea :) Have a great Wednesday!

Ah, your snowfall looks eerily familiar...possibly because Vancouver gets a similar amount of snowfall usually :)

Happy WW!

OMG how absolutely adorable! And ya know... I hadn't thought about it, but I bet a Santa hat would keep your head warm pretty well.

Was the scoop his idea? Because that is brilliant! I can't believe I've never seen that done before.

I've got to dig up my WW pic, I haven't chosen one yet.

My 4 year old cannot wait for it to snow here. It's extremely unusual that it hasn't yet! He loos like he is having a great time with his scooper.

I say the same thing every week. I love this kid. He is just gorgeous. Is he super excited for Christmas?

I love the pics and the ice-cream scoop! What a great idea. We've had quite a bit of fun in the snow the last few days. Beanie has been very excited. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with the horrible traffic mess on Monday night.

I can't believe it's snowing there! It's still pretty hot here and it looks like Thanksgiving will be in the 80s, too.

You photos are absolutely precious! Happy Thanksgiving! xox

We got a similar snowfall (and similarly, only got out onto the porch to experience it!)

Watching Claire discover snow for the first time reminded me of all the reasons why I wanted (and continue to want) to be around to see them learn about the world. :)

Looks like Mikko enjoyed the snow too!

That ice cream scoop is pretty inspired. Good call, Mikko.

I wouldn't think of using an ice cream scoop. I'll have to remember Mikko's brilliant idea at our next snow fall.
