Wordless Wednesday: Baby foodie

In honor of the July Carnival of Natural Parenting on the subject of food (amazing posts in that collection — head on over and enjoy all the links!), I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures of Mikko enjoying his food, both breastfeeding and baby-led solids.

Click pictures to enlarge.

Bonus question, if you want a prompt: What's your favorite food to serve your little one (or yourself!)?

Find sites to link up your Wordless Wednesday post
at my super-cool collection of Wordless Wednesday linkies,
and let me know if you have one to add.
You can also link up a thumbnail from your post below!

I don't know if it's my favorite thing to serve, because it makes a mess, but my daughter would probably say spaghetti. She loves to slurp it.

Very cute! I miss that age:)

Nicholas has many faves, but two that stand out are grilled artichokes and Skyr (an Icelandic yogurty cheese...low in fat, high in protein).

AHH your son is just so sweet!

I think the baby's hardcore favorite is a toss up between avocado and baked sweet potatoes.

My son would be a waif without peanut butter. I think school is going to be an issue with the no peanuts rule.

How'd you do the collage? I like it.

We did BLW too -- loved it! Right now all of us adore fresh raspberries -- my girls will devour them in an instant! And they are quite fun to eat of the end of your finger, as well. Yum yum!

The collages were created for free online at www.photovisi.com for those who are interested in making one. You don't have as much control as I'd like, but I couldn't get Picnik to work for me on this browser, and I was happy with the variety of options offered for free at Photovisi.

Thanks, everyone! This morning's toddler feast was bread with Nutella, a banana, an orange, oatmeal animal cookies, and craisins. About a bite of each. :)
