with neither kid screaming or flailing away in terror.

Oooh, I like the idea of the entire family posing with Santa! Its much better than setting your kid in some strange guy's lap and walking away! lol
I'm sure it helped that he was walking around like a normal person instead of sitting in the only comfy chair for miles around. Like a spider waiting for bugs. :)
Now if I could only convince Moira to stand near Santa. Maybe when she's Mikko's age!

That's a gorgeous photo. Matthew is still utterly terrified of Santa, so we have not even attempted any kind of visits or photos.
