Finding the "world's tallest tree"!
I am so pleased with myself for learning the Tibetan back carry for my mei tai. Supportive and so much more flattering and comfortable for my chestal region than crossover straps!
Watch out for trolls on the bridge!
I have a giveaway right now previewing the movie Won't Back Down with a chance to win one of two $40 Fandango gift cards. Head over to enter and be inspired to keep fighting for whatever you believe in! {9.30; US}
I'm also giving away 5 copies of Poetry of a Hobo Mama for my blogiversary!
You'll also love this week's Photos by Kids over at Natural Parents Network. Mikko has submitted one of his early self-portraits.

Oh, I miss Muir Woods so much! Beautiful shots!
My in laws live in California but we've never made the trek up to see the redwoods. Someday, someday. I love hiking with my son and your photos have me itching to go on a day hike this weekend.
Once again, thanks for blogging about something I have been meaning to Google. I am VERY interested in the Tibetan back carry.
Absolutely gorgeous shots! What a wonderful excursion for your family!
I love all the tree pictures. So beautiful.
Amazing, amazing. Did you feel really in touch with nature while you were there? I always imagine a place like that to have super high energy.
I've never been to the NorthWest; seeing the giant redwoods is on my "bucket list" for sure.
Thank you so much for sharing your travels!
ps: your children are holy cow super ADORBS!!!
Aren't the redwoods awesome! We didn't get to see the golden gate bridge when we were there in February. It was too foggy. :(
Gorgeous photos! Looks like a lovely time was had by all.
