Wordless Wednesday: Little sprouts

1 child happy with duck watering can
Guess who picked out his own watering can at the gardening store!

2 child displaying tomato seed packets
This is what you get when you ask said child to pose with the seed packets.

3 seeds in child's hand
Little things

4 written seed plant labels for gardening
Someone helped me write the labels so I won't forget what went where.

5 seedlings sprouting up
A couple days later: Success!

(Yes, I have a loose definition of "wordless." I'm an English major. I can't help it.)

We started seeds about 5 days ago, but so far nothing. I am getting more than a little impatient. I'm also worried that my inability to keep my toddler away from the planters at all times may have harmed them.

Oh, the agonizing wait!

Great pics! My son always loved planting too (still does even as a teen). Happy Gardening!

Great photos! Good luck with your crop!

My girls love to garden, but I hate it. I pass the plant duties on to Dad.

Thanks for stopping by for WW! :-)

I think it's funny that you always have to say something about the photos.

I LOVE your new blog look, by the way. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT.

Amber: Maybe you need to pick fast-sprouting seeds to help with the impatience factor. Do you like broccoli? It seems to be chugging along nicely. My cat, however, is the one who won't stop stepping on the seedlings.

Lisa: It's no fun for me otherwise. :) I'm a writer, not a photographer (or a photographer AND writer, like you!). And, thank you!

I like your definition of wordless. Makes the wordlessness much more fun. (Says the woman with the English minor, married to the guy with the English major.)

Yay sprouts! It was so exciting when my seeds finally sprouted. And now they're huge and the weather turned cold. I hope they don't die - that would make me very sad.

I love the watering can.

Each of those pics is fantastic! I have a hard time being wordless on my Wednesdays also! Should've been an English major...maybe someday.
