See this boy?
Just a couple days ago, this cool dude was ONE year old!
And now…
…he's TWO!
That's so exciting it makes him want to dance!
It makes us want to party!
We're having their "real" joint birthday party with friends and festivities soon,
so on Alrik's actual birthday, we just had a little family gathering.
Plane!

And the accompanying drool stream?)
The boys check out my (second) attempt at a nut-free, grain-free cake. Or, I should say, "cake." They're more like sweet quiche. With butter spread.
The cake might not have enthused, but the candles sure did.
We had to relight them several times.
Keep an eye on that one. He might be a year older,
but he still doesn't know not to eat candles.
To avoid sibling drama, I made sure to wrap up a couple shared gifts
and make up "goody bags" for our two party boys.
Reading the missive from one set of grandparents…
…and playing with toys from the other set.
Note where the stickers from Grandma's card ALL ended up.
