Here are some happy pictures from our Christmas celebrations.
One present on Christmas Eve!
Guess it was the right one!
Bonus Christmas book for story time
Starting in on the loot on Christmas morning
That's the way to rip!
The cats got EXACTLY what they were hoping for:
Cleopatra costumes.
They were so happy. SO HAPPY.
Traditional (??) Christmas fondue!
Grain-free and super-yum.
Alrik's cheek pouches are full o' ham.
Mikko greatly enjoyed the grandparent video chatting,
making all manner of banana puns.
(Because I love to boost a friend, those fancy
wrist communicators are from Rainbowsouffle.)
And the boys much enjoyed the presents their aunt brought over!
Alrik took a break to do poo-yoga.
(That's a toddler thing.)
Opening stockings!
Mikko finally heading up to bed
with all the lights he could gather.
Alakazam!
Wishing you and yours a magical new year!

Love these! And Mikko is just looking like SUCH a big kid! His hair is awesome, too, btw. I know it can be a source for grief. :P
Happy New Year!!
Steph
Looks like you had a Happy Christmas, and Happy New Year to you too! I need to find a recipe for a fondue that works with a goats or sheeps cheese, and my husband can't eat cows milk based cheese. I love fondue!
:)
@Karen Reekie: I've got one for you! Tom Douglas's: http://www.tastebook.com/recipes/1308260-GOAT-CHEESE-FONDUE-WITH-TOASTED-BREAD-AND-APPLES We had this the Christmas after we heard him talk at a cooking convention, and it was so yum.
