Wordless Wednesday: Breastfeeding study a la The Onion

Breast-Feeding Saves Lives, Money from The Onion American Voices

P.S. I love the third guy's especially.
P.P.S. The Onion is a humor newspaper. Humor.
P.P.P.S. Good thing there's not a regulating body for Wordless Wednesday or I'd be suspended.

Hello, I'm a member of the Wordless Wednesday Police and I hereby revoke your membership card.

I'm horrible at "wordless"

I love the third one too. I have to avoid the onion or i will read it for hours on end. SO FUNNY! I work for NASA so I love their snark related to the space program.

Love it. Question: Are those people depicted real people? I've never heard of them so just wondering how their' "quotes" add to the joke.

Tara W: I know, right?

Paige: You're not going to believe this, but I actually had a moment of heart-stopping anxiety reading your first sentence! :)

Melodie: No, they're part of a long-running Onion feature called "American Voices," where they pretend to do man-on-the-street interviews. They recycle the same small set of pictures each week but give them different names and occupations. Here are a couple more: 'Healthier' Salt, Fatty Foods

For all my fellow Onion fans, just wanted to share one of my favorite jokes: When they said that one of Tampax's failed slogans was "For those awkward, bleeding-from-your-crotch days." I still use that phrase every month! :)
